Description of Educational Program:

    The Junior Clerkship in Psychiatry Program provides an opportunity to refine clinical psychiatry skills. This includes interviewing skills, correlation of material from interview data and other sources. It also includes developing a diagnostic formulation of psychopathological disorders and treatment plans. Students also learn about patient's strengths as well as personality difficulties. They become familiar with the concepts and role of the psychiatrist.
